PURPOSE: To provide a variety of broad-based clerical and office support services for the ministry area. This position organizes the activities and functions of the office and coordinates the flow of information to the Pastoral Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Show care and Christian concern for parents, students and volunteers
- Assist in creating and executing all events
- Coordinate the flow of information to the Ministry Team
- Remain knowledgeable of all events / functions and communicate accurate information when questions are asked.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, conferences and all travel accommodations.
- Prepare individual ministry area communication with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Analyze current systems / processes and bring forward suggestions for improvements and continue to maintain existing files and establish new ones
- Utilize appropriate software processing database management, spreadsheets and presentations along with reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support various ministry areas, when needed, along with special event-driven activities.
- Assist with fiscal budget planning to insure all ministry activities are included, as well as maintaining event specific budgets
- Answer the main office phone system as needed during office hours
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
